Job 5
Eliphaz continues his spiel for Job. You can see it can be divided into 3 sections. The first part goes from v.1-7, second part v.8-16, and third part v.17-27. The first part describes the negative mindset, the lens a mourning person like Job sees in a dire situation. However, the tone changed from negativity to positivity as Eliphaz shifts his gear toward a word of praise God in the second part. Eliphaz continues to mention the hope of God in the third part of this chapter. The third part of this chapter becomes a bit more personal for Job and readers.
